Antrim County voters will be asked on November 5 whether or not to approve a bond proposal for the construction of a Public Safety Center. If it is built, the public Safety Center will include a jail, flexible programming space, community training space, emergency management, 911 dispatch center, and sheriff administrative, patrol, and investigation facilities. To help voters with this decision, tours of the existing 1955 jail are currently scheduled on:

Friday, August 23 at 3 pm
Sunday, August 25 at 3 pm
Friday, September 13 at 3 pm

Tours will last approximately half an hour. The jail’s address is 207 E Cayuga St., Bellaire. Parking is available in the County Building’s parking lot at 203 E Cayuga St. The tours are restricted to 15 people per tour and are on a first come first serve basis.
Ballots for the August 6 Primary Election arrived at our office on July 9 and all Absentee Ballots were mailed before 3pm on July 10. Thank you for your patience.
